Welcome to our NEW Location!

Students who attend our new location will find that they have easier access to our school by way of the MTC, college options as well as job opportunities and academic resources including the Brookdale Library.

The Brooklyn Center Academy serves students in grades 9-12, up to age 21. We feature individualized instruction in small classroom settings, coupled with a shorter school day to accommodate students who may be working. Coursework focuses on core content areas of math, science, social studies and language arts. Students can also choose from a large variety of online courses in order to meet their graduation requirements and enhance their college or career readiness. Students at BCA have access to a wide variety of support such as on-site childcare, mental health providers, and chemical dependency counseling. Finally, students can also participate in after school programming and/or summer school to recover credits or prepare for state testing. Students at BCA may participate in all co-curricular activities at BCHS (including athletics) and must meet eligibility criteria set forth by the Minnesota State High School League. The BCA is a fabulous option for any student who would benefit from a smaller setting where specific individual goals are developed and implemented before their first day of instruction.

You are invited to set up a tour and/or meeting to discuss how the BCA might be a good fit for your student. Just call me at 763.458.0275.
